• →Provide commercially oriented operational legal support and strategic guidance to management/business units/functions in the respective Region, including providing advice on commercial, competition, employment, public procurement, regulatory, data protection, product liability and dispute related matters with a high degree of independence

• →Counsel business clients practically and strategically on legal issues relating to the businesses/operations in question

• →Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including sales, distribution, service, supply, confidentiality and collaboration agreements

• →Provide operational support on the daily activities of the local operations, including rendering support to the various functions (HR, Pricing, Regulatory)

• →Overseeing and supporting the consistent implementation of strategic legal projects on local level

• →Support the EurAsia Legal team on new processes and projects to ensure local implementation and effective incorporation of legal requirements into local commercial and business activities.

• →Ensure compliance with local legislation

• →Prepare and conduct meetings and training sessions with employees on Medtronic policies and procedures

• →Participate in & share best practices with the EurAsia Legal team

• →Effectively manage relationships with outside counsels to maximize the quality of representation and minimize legal expenses.

• Bachelor's degree in Law and 8+ years of legal experience in an international corporation, multinational environment, or law firm
• Licensed or qualified legal professional with substantial experience advising on Saudi Arabian laws and regulations
• Professional fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements and supporting strategic business transactions
• Experience partnering with senior business stakeholders on legal risk management and operational decision-making.

• In-house legal experience within the medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
• Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, integrations, and corporate restructuring activities
• Experience managing distributor networks, healthcare sector agreements, and public procurement matters in Saudi Arabia
• University or postgraduate studies completed outside the candidate's native country
• International work experience supporting cross-border legal and commercial operations.
