With your help, we can go beyond!As Lead Product Designer, you will be part of a team solving a unique problem, one that’s mostly untouched by other e-commerce players. We are making eCommerce accessible for Tier-2+ markets who are new to eCommerce and have almost never transacted online before. Our Design team is as diverse as our users. Today, the team comprises about 50 Designers -- including Product , Visual & Motion Designers. But wait, there’s more! We’re individuals who are obsessed with our users. We empathise. We solve at grassroot levels. We are breaking all the barriers -- be it language, literacy, culture, or technology.

About the role

If you love designing, keeping users first, getting deep into data and enhancing user experiences, you may be our next Lead Product Designer!As a Lead Product Designer, you will be responsible for driving design across key charters, and mentoring/managing juniors working on these charters. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Business, Data, and Engineering teams to identify problems and craft experiences that are both impactful and delightful. Alongside taking ownership of complex individual contributor work, you will also mentor and manage a small team of designers—helping them grow while driving quality across the board.

Be the primary owner of multiple charters

Be able to lead design and mentor/guide peers in framework thinking and conducting deep research which leads to actionable outcomes

Design and validate new experiences via mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, sketches, and other UX artefacts

Conduct quick rounds of usability testing

Individually contribute to the design decisions and mentor senior and junior Designers for holistic growth

Effectively use quantitative and qualitative data to drive decisions and measure success

Collaborate with the research, product, business and engineering teams to build scalable and impactful solutions

6+ years of design experience in a product company

Experience with startups and fast-paced environments is an added advantage

A strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, design skills, curiosity, empathy and business acumen

Understanding business and applying customer feedback and research to the design process

Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management

Experience leading a project or a vertical and mentoring designers

Strong understanding of AI, prototyping and other key differentiating tools that will give us an edge in user experiences

Strong desire to see how designers can support the company’s goals, team initiatives, and the broader product vision
