The Laredo Local Driver will secure and deliver flatbed freight locally and regionally. Normal working hours for this position are Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, home every day but there may be occasional weekends, overnight, or overtime as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties as assigned.

1. City and Regional driving pulling stepdeck and flatbed trailers. Responsible for the distribution of commodities to local and regional customers.

2. Must be able to secure and tarp following Melton policies and DOT regulations.

3. Prepares proper paperwork

4. Assists customers in matters concerning their freight.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. 1 year OTR/Regional flatbed experience.

2. Motivated and detail oriented

3. Accustomed to working in a fast paced environment.

4. Willing to work irregular shifts

5. Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug screen
