2nd Shift Mechanic

This position is responsible for the Maintenance of Menard-owned equipment and vehicles. This is light duty, medium duty, and heavy-duty truck and forklift repairs. 2nd Shift is an extra $3.00 per hour. Hours are Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. every 3rd Saturday 7 a.m. - noon. 

• Pay based on experience: $29.55/hr - $36.30/hr

• Perform mechanical repairs to trucks and trailers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Perform accurate and timely repairs.
• Look for additional repairs beyond what’s listed.
• Perform preventative Maintenance checks on equipment.
• Experience in diagnostic engine repair
• Experience in truck drivetrain repair
• Must have some direct mechanical experience or an accredited Technician Degree
• Must be reliable, detail oriented, and able to multitask
• Must have parts knowledge
• Must be able to take direction from management and the ability to work independently
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. occasionally
