The Motor Development Specialist is a Day Program position that supports individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (IDD). This position implements gross motor and sensory motor skills that are provided by the Occupational (OT) and Physical (PT) Therapists. This position also provides ongoing training and monitoring of staff in areas of feeding textures, mealtime procedures, lifting, transfers, wheelchair usage, mobility, and splinting procedures.
