Psychiatrist - Long-Term Structured Residence (LTSR) 20hrs/wk

We are seeking a hybrid part-time Psychiatrist to support our Long Term Structured Residence (LTSR) programs at our Russellton, PA and Beaver Falls, PA, locations.

Pay range: Up to $200/hr

Shift: 20 hours per week - telehealth + minimum one onsite visit per location per month

Flexible schedule - choose your own days and hours between locations

Position details:

The Psychiatrist provides leadership for psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, medication management, and clinical decision-making within the Long Term Structured Residence (LTSR). The Psychiatrist collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive comprehensive, recovery-oriented behavioral health services that promote stability, independence, and successful community integration.

Duties include:

• Conducting psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments upon admission and throughout treatment
• Developing, reviewing, and approving individualized treatment plans as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting psychiatric medications and evaluating treatment effectiveness.
• Providing ongoing psychiatric care, including assessment of mental status, symptom management, and risk factors.
• Participating in treatment team meetings and collaborating with nursing, therapy, case management, and direct care staff.
• Responding to psychiatric crises and determining the need for emergency interventions or higher levels of care, including hospitalization when indicated.
• Ensuring psychiatric services are delivered in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Human Services regulations and professional standards of care.
• Supporting resident recovery, rehabilitation, and transition planning to the least restrictive community-based setting possible
• Participating in commitment hearings

• Psychiatrist with an active, unrestricted Pennsylvania license.
• Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines, including clinical and clerical staff.
