About the Role
~1 min readThe patient services department are a dynamic, friendly team of over one hundred staff who provide administrative support to the clinical areas across the hospital. There are often many opportunities to grow and develop your career.
- The Administrative Officer plays an integral role in the functioning of MHW through the provision of exceptional customer service and administrative support.
- In this role, you will be required to have flexibility to work across a number of shifts across the week, including weekends, nightshift and public holidays.
- Availability at short notice is required as well as the capacity to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
- Attention to detail is necessary and intermediate computer skills with the ability to learn and utilise new software systems and programs as required.
- You will be compassionate, resilient, enthusiastic, motivated, adaptable and have a positive, can do approach.
- You will be committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience whilst displaying the Mercy values.
- Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- A current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
