The Learning Team is committed to delivering high-quality education that promotes excellence in professional practice by empowering nurses and midwives within the public health sector to implement innovative clinical education. This pivotal role supports midwives to work to the full scope of their practice, strengthening capability, confidence, and contemporary care delivery.

Based at Werribee Mercy Hospital, you will be part of a vibrant and forward‑thinking Midwifery Education Team that is transforming how education is designed and delivered. The Clinical Support Midwife provides direct clinical support and mentorship to students, graduates, newly appointed or less experienced midwives, as well as experienced midwives, to support the ongoing development of high‑quality clinical skills and professional growth. The role also contributes to the implementation, and evaluation of clinical learning activities across the organisation, working collaboratively with the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Education, the Assistant Director of Nursing and Midwifery Education (Women’s and Children’s Program), and Clinical Midwifery Educators.
