About the Role

Unique opportunity for an experienced caesarean midwife in a level 6 Tertiary Hospital. Our unit caters for Obstetric women who require Elective and Emergency surgical care offering a challenging environment. In this vital role, you will support women, babies and families throughout the elective caesarean birth journey from pre-operative care to recovery. An opportunity to make a meaningful impact to women and their families, within a supportive and multidisciplinary environment


  • Deliver High Quality, Women Centred Midwifery care within a collaborative team
  • Strong commitment to staff education and ongoing professional development
  • Monday to Friday Dayshift with no night duty or weekends required

Responsibilities

  • →Registration as a Midwife with AHPRA
  • →Recent experience as a Caesarean Midwife
  • →Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
  • →A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
  • →The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
