As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for the on‑going repairs, preventative maintenance and general upkeep of the facility. You will also assist with identifying and addressing safety concerns to support a secure and comfortable environment for everyone on site. Your work will play a key role in ensuring our RAC facility remain safe, presentable and operational.

  • A compassionate, flexible and solutions‑focused approach.
  • The ability to build respectful relationships and work both independently and within a team.
  • Previous maintenance experience (trade background or qualification preferred but not essential).
  • Experience in Aged Care or hotel/hospital settings (highly regarded).
  • Proficient computer skills: experience with maintenance management systems is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of WHS/OH&S standards and regulatory maintenance requirements for aged care and independent living.
  • Experience managing contractors and understanding of essential systems such as HVAC, essential services, and Building 9C regulations.

  • A current Police Record Check.
