The Werribee MBU is a 6-bed, 6-cot inpatient facility specialising in perinatal mental health. The unit supports women experiencing moderate to severe perinatal mental health challenges and focuses on strengthening parenting capacity and the mother-infant relationship. 

The multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychiatric registrars, psychologists, maternal and child health nurses, clinical nurse specialists, postgraduate-trained nursing staff, a Nurse Unit Manager, and other allied health professionals. 

• →Deliver high-quality, recovery-oriented mental health nursing care 
• →Support mother-infant bonding and parenting skills development 
• →Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team 
• →Contribute to treatment planning, risk assessments, and documentation 
• →Participate in quality improvement and reflective clinical practice 
• →Demonstrated commitment to holistic, family-centred care 
• →Excellent clinical, organisational, time management, and communication skills 
• →Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team 
• →Availability for shift work, including nights
