At Merit Manufacturing, we bring personal-care products to life, and our people make it happen. Across Research & Development, Quality, Production, and Operations, our teams turn ideas into products customers can trust.

We take our work seriously and make room for fresh ideas, teamwork, and a little fun along the way. We’re constantly looking for better ways to solve problems, strengthen processes, and improve how we work.

As our Supply Chain Manager, you’ll make a visible difference by purchasing the materials that keep production moving. From raw ingredients to packaging components, your work will help ensure every scheduled run has what it needs, when it needs it.

If you enjoy connecting the details, solving supply challenges, and turning a plan into reliable results, we’d love to meet you.

You’re curious, analytical, and comfortable digging into detailed information. You ask thoughtful questions, check the facts, and use your expertise to make sound purchasing and planning decisions.

You stay close to the work, from reviewing material requirements to following purchase orders through delivery. You bring the organization and self-discipline to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate information, and follow through to completion.

You understand that manufacturing moves quickly. You balance urgency with accuracy, consider risks before committing, and communicate early when a shortage or supplier delay could affect production.

You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Look ahead. Connect production schedules, inventory, and supplier lead times to identify material needs before they become shortages.
  • Solve problems thoughtfully. Investigate discrepancies, evaluate options, and develop solutions that prevent recurring issues.
  • Take ownership. Keep purchases organized and follow supplier commitments through without constant direction.
  • Communicate with precision. Share accurate delivery updates, explain risks clearly, and give others the information they need to act.
  • Use sound judgment. Weigh cost, timing, specifications, and quality requirements before making decisions.
  • Lead with clear expectations. Delegate thoughtfully, provide specific feedback, and verify that work meets requirements.
