Commercial Product Fabricator - Louver/Punch Press

Perform a variety of duties to set up and operate sheet metal fabrication equipment to perform stamping and forming operations on a variety of aluminum and steel gauges following standard practices and procedures.

List what the person must perform the job to meet standards:

• → Sets up, maintains and operates various sheet metal fabricating machinery, including but not limited to a Punch Press and Louver
• → Performs various production duties from Work Orders, Part Prints, Standard Set- up Procedures, Quality and OJT manuals.
• → Utilizes and maintains calipers, rules, combination square, protractor, vernier, feeder gauges, hand tools, wrenches, micrometers, hex keys and other similar tools.
• → Inspect and prepare supplied products, reports defects/problems to supervision.
• → Removes and inspects finished products for compliance to specifications, reports defects to supervision and makes machine adjustments as directed.
• → Uses lift and/or platform trucks to move supplied and finished products to various plant locations.
• → Maintains required production, safety and other records and data.
• → Inspects and reports defective and unsafe machinery/parts to supervision.
• → Wears and maintains safety equipment and obeys safety rules, practices and procedures.
• → Maintains work area in a neat, orderly and safe manner.
• → Performs other similar or related duties as required or requested.
