Looking for the fast paced, innovation fueled start-up life? MetaWealth is one of the most promising fintechs, present in Bucharest, London and Marbella, with a clear mission to become Europe’s top investment platform. We’re focused on exposing tokenized assets (eg: real estate) to investors and capital markets. We currently have 1500 Investors in 24 countries and over €50 million in assets under management. 

Being a multi-cultural Engineering-driven organization, you will feel here best while tackling difficult DeFi challenges with heavy AI assistance for maximum efficiency. 

We’re looking for a result-driven Senior Software Engineer with expertise in building scalable back-ends (microservices with GO or Node.JS, RESTful APIs, unit testing etc) that will act as a partner, own the outcome of his work, and share in the success.
  • Understand and own the business domain and challenges we’re faced with
  • Create optimal domain driven architecture that will balance robustness and maintainability with the simplicity a start-up needs when accelerating
  • Build resilient microservices and APIs, fast.
  • Create or contribute to our automated deployment pipeline and observability setup
  • Develop, test and deploy secure and maintainable code, heavily assisted by AI
  • Monitor production backend systems to ensure stability and performance
  • Closely work with and inspire your peers (including front-end and blockchain engineers), product team and business team
  • 4+ years of building high-concurrency systems and APIs with GoLang (preferred) or NodeJS, using microservices and event-driven architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Congnito, Redis, SQS etc
  • Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
  • Experience writing unit tests, load tests and other automated tests
  • Great at debugging production issues by assumption/validation, data extraction and analysis
  • Previous experience with Docker, K8s, GitHub Actions, Terraform
  • Ownership, speed, curiosity, result-driven, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience integrating with or developing Solana programs (Helius, Anchor, SPL token, Token 2022, Metaplex Core)
  • Previous extensive integration of AI in the development flow
  • Experience with DeFi
  • Worked in the past with AWS Amplify or AWS CDK
  • Some front-end experience (eg: React, Redux)
