Field Service Specialist

As a Metrohm Field Service Specialist, you’ll be the face of our Service team—providing technical support and on-site service that keeps our customers’ instruments running at peak performance.

• →Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications, preventive maintenance, and refresher training for benchtop analytical systems.
• →Support customers both on-site and remotely (via phone, email, Teams).
• →Manage a dynamic schedule across the territory.
• →Build strong customer relationships through expert service and communication.
• →Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams to deliver seamless customer experience.

This position supports customers throughout Southeastern and Central Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Candidates should reside within the territory to effectively support customers throughout the region.  Candidates should be comfortable managing travel and adapting to varying client needs and environments. 

• BS/BA in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience repairing laboratory instrumentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Strong time management and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory and occasionally outside the territory in the South Region.

The posted salary range represents base pay only. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for quarterly bonus opportunities and half-time overtime pay, providing additional earning potential. Your base salary offer will reflect your experience, capabilities, and the value you bring to the team.

• Previous experience traveling for field service work.
• Familiarity with process-based applications.
• Candidates with strong computer literacy and experience using common business or industry-specific software
