We are recruiting an experienced and passionate ABA Therapist to join our client's world-class medical center in Abu Dhabi. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly professional, multidisciplinary environment, providing evidence-based intervention to children and young people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental needs.
The ideal candidate is caring, patient, and committed to best practice in Applied Behavior Analysis, with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to make a difference in children's lives.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Deliver one-to-one and small group ABA therapy sessions in accordance with individualized treatment plans.
- →Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by the supervising BCBA/Clinical Supervisor.
- →Collect accurate, timely data during each session and input it into the center's data-management system.
- →Monitor progress and report on skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and goal attainment.
- →Support the development of communication, social, self-help, academic, and play skills for children with ASD and other developmental conditions.
- →Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA strategies consistently and ethically.
- →Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team (BCBAs, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, special educators, doctors).
- →Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and clinical reviews to refine and update treatment plans.
- →Provide caregiver training and guidance as directed by the supervising clinician, helping parents generalize skills at home and in the community.
- →Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging therapy environment at all times.
- →Adhere to professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards in line with DOH and center policies.
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field (preferred).
- Licensing:
- Valid DOH (HAAD) license as an ABA Therapist / Behavioral Therapist / relevant category is mandatory.
- Experience:
- Prior experience working as an ABA Therapist / Behavior Therapist with children on the autism spectrum or with developmental delays.
- Experience in clinic, school, or center-based ABA programs is highly desirable.
- Skills and competencies:
- Strong understanding of ABA principles (discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, behavior reduction, reinforcement strategies, task analysis, etc.).
- Confident in working 1:1 with children; patient, energetic, and child-centered.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic or other languages are an advantage).
- Comfortable with data collection, basic reporting, and following structured treatment plans.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and take clinical supervision constructively.
