ENGINEER, FW & PRODUCT TEST ENGINEERING

• →Build and develop known, grey-box, and closed system validation tests for SSD firmware used in datacenter applications.  
• →Partner with firmware, hardware, and product development teams to translate product requirements into effective and scalable validation coverage.
• →Create, execute, and analyze test plans that verify functionality, quality, and reliability across the SSD development lifecycle, with a strong focus on identifying firmware issues and improving overall product robustness.
• →Use C, Python, and automation frameworks to accelerate firmware bug finding, support debug and root-cause analysis, and collaborate closely with the firmware team to drive effective issue resolution and continuous improvement of validation methodologies.
• →Take advantage of AI-supported development and validation tools to speed up test creation and contribute to industry-leading storage solutions.

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven programming skills in C and Python.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel, including international and intercontinental business trips, as needed.

• Experience in product development, validation, verification, or product testing is highly valued.
• Strong Python skills for test development, automation, and data-driven problem solving.
• Knowledge of SSD architecture, storage concepts, and related protocols is a strong plus.

The base salary range that Micron estimates it could pay in for this position full-time is:

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the position.
