Chief Technology Officer

Technology Strategy & Architecture • Define and drive EBC’s technology strategy aligned with business priorities and national payment ecosystem evolution. • Oversee enterprise and infrastructure architecture ensuring scalability, interoperability, and future readiness. • Lead modernization initiatives (cloud adoption, platform transformation, automation). Infrastructure & Operations Excellence • Ensure 24/7 availability and performance of critical systems (cards, IPN, Meeza, ACH, etc.). • Oversee IT Data & Infrastructure operations including data centers, hosting, and platforms. • Drive operational efficiency, capacity planning, and service reliability. Network, Security & Resilience • Ensure robust cybersecurity posture and network integrity in line with regulatory (CBE) and industry standards. • Oversee IT Network and IT Security functions, including threat prevention, monitoring, and incident response. • Maintain strong business continuity and disaster recovery readiness. Network Operations Center (NOC) Leadership • Govern end-to-end monitoring and incident management across all systems and services. • Ensure proactive detection, rapid response, and minimal service disruption. • Establish service level discipline and operational dashboards. Data & Platform Enablement • Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable data infrastructure to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence. • Enable integration of emerging technologies and digital platforms supporting innovation and service expansion. Leadership & Capability Building • Lead and develop high-performing technical teams across infrastructure, network, security, and NOC. • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence. • Build future-ready capabilities and succession pipelines. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electronic & Communication Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. "MBA is highly preferable" 15+ years in IT with strong exposure to infrastructure, networks, and architecture. Proven leadership in mission-critical / high-availability environments (preferably fintech, banking, or telecom). Experience managing large-scale operations and distributed teams. VMware, Cisco, Cloud Computing studies/certifications. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
