Job title: Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Mile Bluff Clinic - Mauston, WI

Schedules Available: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period; scheduled between 7:00am-4:30pm

Weekend rotation: No weekends

Holiday rotation: No holidays

The Registered Nurse position assists with day-to-day nursing activities. This is an important role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare.

• →Assist providers with patient-related needs before, during, and after care; make sure their needs have been met in a timely, efficient, and caring manor.
• →Room patients for their appointments.
• →Assist with procedures, dressing changes, DME supplies, etc.
• →Clean and stock rooms.
• →Chart prep and paperwork, including prior authorizations, FMLA, CMN forms, etc.
• →Triage and set up extra care at other facilities for the patients.
• →Obtain lab specimens, perform lab competencies and quality controls on a regular basis; perform lab tests run at the clinic.
• →Start IVs, change catheters, perform wound care, etc.
• →Attend daily huddles, monthly PCS meetings, monthly clinic meetings, CCM and RWHC meetings, etc.
• →Travel to other MBMC clinics and Pods to cover as needed.
• →Assist with patient education upon provider request.

• →Perform other duties as requested.

• Two-year degree in nursing required. Four-year degree preferred.
• Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
• Current BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months.
• 1+ years of related work experience required.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.

• Intermediate proficiency with computers is required
• Comprehensive nursing skills and knowledge of equipment such as retinal scanners, EKG, etc.
• Thorough understanding of triage.
• Understanding of lab procedures and equipment.
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
