Founded in 2024, Mira Home is one of the fastest-growing home service brands in the country. In just two years, we’ve expanded into 14 U.S. markets—with major nationwide expansion planned for 2027. We’re modernizing pest control through family- and pet-safe treatments, transparent pricing, and a prevention-first approach. About the Role

~1 min read

We're looking for a creative, resourceful content creator who knows how to capture attention, tell compelling stories, and turn real-world experiences into content people actually want to watch.

You'll own Mira's organic social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

That means getting out from behind your desk, riding along with technicians, capturing real pest problems, showcasing our people, and finding creative ways to make pest control interesting, relevant, and memorable.

You'll also build a scalable content system that allows us to consistently capture and publish compelling stories from branches across the country.

Your mission: Make Mira recognizable, trusted, and top of mind when homeowners need pest control.

  • Develop creative concepts, hooks, and content series that capture attention, educate, entertain, and build trust.
  • Shoot, edit, and produce engaging short-form video and photo content.
  • Capture authentic footage with technicians, customers, and branches: treatments, pest discoveries, before-and-afters, customer experiences, and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Research and identify relevant trends, formats, and storytelling opportunities worth adapting to Mira.
  • Handle everyday editing independently and collaborate with our creative team on more advanced production.
  • Own Mira's corporate Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts accounts.
  • Plan, produce, schedule, and publish a consistent stream of engaging content.
  • Develop platform-specific hooks, captions, formats, and calls to action.
  • Continuously test creative concepts and improve based on reach, retention, engagement, and audience response.
  • Build an authentic, recognizable brand voice across every platform.
  • Develop a scalable system for technicians and branch teams to capture and submit usable content from across our markets.
  • Produce geographically relevant content featuring local technicians, pest issues, seasonal trends, and community involvement.
  • Create repeatable social media launch kits for new markets and branches.
  • Maintain an organized library of footage and creative assets by market, topic, and intended use.
  • Partner with our paid advertising team to develop a steady pipeline of authentic video footage, testimonials, UGC-style content, and creative concepts.
  • Identify high-performing organic content and recommend opportunities for paid testing.
  • Produce creative variations featuring different hooks, angles, messaging, and calls to action.
  • Use performance feedback from paid campaigns to inform future creative concepts.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and relevant brand conversations.
  • Answer basic questions and route sales inquiries to the appropriate team.
  • Escalate complaints and customer service issues promptly using established protocols.
  • Represent Mira professionally and authentically in public conversations.
  • Maintain a content calendar and repeatable production workflow.
  • Build templates, filming guidelines, submission processes, and content libraries that support consistent output across multiple markets.
  • Monitor content performance and identify which topics, formats, hooks, and creative approaches produce the strongest results.
  • Report monthly on content published, performance against key metrics, lessons learned, and specific recommendations for improving the following month's content strategy.
  • Use AI and creative tools to streamline production and repurposing.
  • 2+ years of experience creating short-form social media content for a business or brand.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating content you personally filmed, edited, or produced.
  • Excellent creative instincts, storytelling ability, and understanding of hooks and audience retention.
  • Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing tools.
  • Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to branches and technician job sites.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in home services, consumer services, or multi-location businesses.
  • Experience developing UGC-style content or direct-response advertising creative.
  • Experience managing brand social media accounts.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and content performance optimization.
  • Experience creating content systems or coordinating footage from distributed teams.
  • Comfortable in the field. You're happy filming on job sites, directing non-professional talent, and occasionally appearing on camera yourself.
  • Finisher. You can independently turn an idea into finished, published content without waiting to be told what to make next.
  • Owner's mindset. You run the accounts yourself, build the systems behind them, and own the results.
  • Brand Awareness: Mira consistently reaches relevant homeowners and becomes increasingly recognizable across its markets.
  • Brand Trust: Our content showcases authentic people, experiences, and expertise that make homeowners more comfortable choosing Mira.
  • Creative Performance: A steady supply of compelling content and creative concepts supports both organic growth and paid advertising performance.

  • Full time, salaried, on the Marketing team.
