Operational Designer II

• →Complete 3D SolidWorks model modifications for made-to-order MIRATECH products.
• →Create Submittal and Dimensional drawings for sales support.
• →Create production and assembly drawings for fabrication.
• →Dimensional verification and quality control of finished drawings.
• →Continuous focus on cost reductions in design and fabrication by working with the production group.
• →Understand fabrication design techniques and the cost impact of design assembly drawings and materials.
• →Communicate thoroughly and regularly to establish a warm working relationship with internal and external customers.
• →Other duties as assigned.

• Associate's degree in Drafting or Engineering from an accredited technical school, college or university.
• Proficient with SolidWorks modeling and drawing creation; sheet metal experience a plus.
• Prefer 2 (+) years of direct industrial, engineering, or production drafting and support experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• SOLIDWORKS CSWP or CSWE preferred.
• Working knowledge of Syspro ERP software desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently to produce high-caliber deliverables in a short time frame.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
