Core Truth Model Analyst (MDA)

MDR is looking for an amazingly skilled and talented Senior Systems (Integration) Analyst to join our team! In this role, you will provide engineering support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Production team. Focused on requirements definition, elaboration and verification in support of Missile Defense framework and Core Truth Model (CTM) software development to include software containerization development. Work will involve interaction between the Government and Prime Contractors in support of MDA's M&S and integration and test programs. May be asked to analyze the integration of systems engineering processes and methodologies to ensure effectiveness of this work. What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop and review CTM requirements and diagrams
• Develop and review Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and other interface documents from Missile Defense System participants and Modeling and Simulation enablers
• Lead and facilitate technical discussions and collaboration activities with both internal and external stakeholders to include Prime Contractors and the Missile Defense elements
• Actively participate in Program Increment Planning activities
• Develop and review verification and validation plan for CTM development and coordination with the accrediting organization
• Draft and review technical documents, briefings, white papers, etc
• Plays a role in overall functional strategic planning of CTM System Engineering processes within the organization
• Define and develop the interface with MDA Ground Test Framework and Integrated Software Center tools

What Preferred Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience working with the missile defense system and the Missile Defense Agency
• Experience with OPTISIG, KIDD, OSC, SAG, or other Core Truth Models.
• Experience with MDA ground and flight test event, Continuous Development Integration (CDI) and activities supported by M&S products and services
• Experience with analysis, test, and systems engineering of M&S for one or more elements of the MDS (i.e. Patriot, THAAD, GMD, Sensors, or C2)
• Practical experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and other languages typically used for system modeling (i.e. DoD Architecture framework and UML)

• BS degree in STEM field
• 7+ years of related professional experience
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
• Experience in model and simulation development
• Experience in Agile and Lean software development principles
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Leaning (ML) concepts and applications
• Experience in software containerization development concepts and applications
• Experience in model and simulation requirements development
• Experience in model and simulation verification and validation
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience in Radio Frequency (RF) and Infrared (IR) signature models
• Experience with environmental models and environmental states and effects
• Experience with missile defense system and/or threat system simulation and model testing processes
• Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience with DoD and/or MDA acquisition and systems engineering
