~3 min readThe Lead Physical Therapist Traveler provides high-quality physical therapy services and clinical guidance across our home health locations. This is a permanent, full-time W-2 position designed for clinicians who enjoy travel, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple communities. Team members complete 13-week minimum assignments at designated locations and receive company-paid housing, transportation, and travel expenses to and from each assignment. The Lead Physical Therapist serves as a clinical resource, promotes best practices, and helps ensure exceptional patient outcomes while supporting operational and clinical excellence throughout the organization.
- Active Physical Therapist license in the practicing state or ability to obtain licensure in assigned states as required.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapist; home health experience strongly preferred.
- Current BLS and hands-on CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively between assignments.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to complete 13-week minimum assignments at various home health locations based on organizational needs.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary care teams.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- →Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques to relieve pain and improve mobility, strength, and coordination.
- →Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety precautions, and self-care strategies.
- →Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic, patient-centered care.
- →Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- →Serve as a clinical preceptor and resource for rehabilitation staff across assigned locations.
- →Support mentoring, onboarding, and development of therapy team members as needed.
- →Promote best practices, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
- →Adapt quickly to new locations, patient populations, and interdisciplinary teams while maintaining exceptional clinical standards.
- →Participate in case conferences, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
- →Assist operational and clinical leadership in ensuring consistent delivery of therapy services across multiple markets.
