Senior Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to play a pivotal role in strengthening our financial capability and supporting informed decision-making at a strategic level. Reporting into senior leadership, you will act as a trusted advisor, partnering across the organisation to enhance financial performance, governance, and transparency.

You will bring clarity to complex financial information and drive improvements that support both operational and strategic outcomes.

• →Providing strategic financial advice to senior leaders and key stakeholders
• →Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
• →Strengthening financial governance, controls and compliance frameworks
• →Driving financial improvement initiatives and process uplift
• →Developing clear, insightful reporting to support decision-making
• →Building strong, collaborative relationships across corporate and operational teams

You are an experienced senior finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to influence and partner effectively.

• Demonstrated experience in financial management, governance and business partnering
• Strong analytical capability with a strategic mindset
• Proven ability to lead financial improvement initiatives and uplift processes
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information for diverse audiences
• A collaborative, mature approach and commitment to consistency, transparency, and continuous improvement

• Experience within volunteer-based organisations, emergency services or similarly complex environments

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Commerce or a related discipline
