Software Engineer – Communication Platforms

Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based backend services and applications supporting our Hosted vPBX platform.

Enhance existing platform capabilities, workflows, and overall system performance.

Contribute to the development of our new Visual Dialplan Builder.

Develop management and configuration tools for communication services.

Build automation mechanisms that simplify the day-to-day management and provisioning of services.

Collaborate closely with the Product and Technical Support teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Collaborate on the integration and productization of AI-enabled capabilities.

At least 3 years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on experience in PHP backend development.

Experience in designing, building and consuming REST APIs, including the integration of third-party services.

Experience with MySQL or other relational database management systems.

Hands-on experience with Git and version control workflows.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.

A genuine interest in developing new products, features, and platform capabilities.

Fluency in Greek & English.

Experience with VoIP or PBX platforms, such as Asterisk, FreePBX, or similar communication systems.

Understanding of telephony workflows, including IVR, Ring Groups, Queues, Routing Rules, and Time Conditions.

Experience developing configuration tools, administration panels, or internal management interfaces.
