Accounting Associate

We’re looking for an Accounting & Finance Associate to join our growing team and help strengthen our day-to-day accounting and finance operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who enjoys owning processes, solving problems, and operating in a fast-moving environment.

You’ll play a hands-on role across accounts payable, tax support, and the monthly close process. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, can navigate ambiguity, and is excited to help build and improve processes as the company grows.

  Support the accounts payable process, including vendor onboarding, invoice review, payment processing, AP reconciliation, etc.

  Manage state sales tax filings and ensure filings are completed accurately and on time

  Coordinate sales tax registrations as the company expands into new jurisdictions

  Support broader tax compliance, including gathering and organizing information needed by our external CPA and tax advisors

  Assist with the monthly close process, including account reconciliations, amortization, accruals, etc.

  Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and workflows as the company scales

• 3-6 years of relevant accounting or finance experience

• At least 2 years of experience at a high-growth company

• Strong accounting background and understanding of core accounting principles

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• A self-starter who is comfortable taking ownership and working independently

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams

• Experience working at a technology startup

• Experience with tax compliance

• Experience helping build or improve accounting processes in a rapidly scaling organization

• CPA

• Fluent in Mandarin

• You’ll become a trusted owner of key accounting processes, ensuring that AP, tax, and close-related activities run accurately and efficiently. Over time, you’ll help us build more scalable processes and bring greater structure to our accounting operations as the company continues to grow.
