MorEng is partnering with a global leader in real-time simulation and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test systems. Their technology powers test and validation of next-generation control systems across aerospace, automotive, energy, transportation and industrial manufacturing for tier-1 OEMs, research institutions and government agencies worldwide.

You will join the Aerospace Business Unit and report to the team leader. The team designs custom turnkey test solutions for customers to validate and certify hardware and embedded control system designs. Hybrid (1 day/week onsite minimum) in the Greater Montreal Area. International travel required.

What You Will Work On

Test benches for engine control computers (traditional, hybrid, fully electric). Battery management system test rigs. Air and de-icing system validation. Power electronics simulation. Embedded control verification for eVTOL, drone and commercial aircraft.

Main Responsibilities

Design electrical and electronic solutions integrating in-house and partner products. Build MATLAB/Simulink and real-time test models; generate FPGA embedded programs. Prepare technical documentation including BOMs and drawings; participate in design reviews. Support production teams in assembly; design basic electronic circuits. Write and execute Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures; burn-in and debug systems. Install and support systems at customer sites worldwide.

FPGA / VIVADO experience. Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) or higher. Microsoft Visio.
