Systems Integrator

MorEng is partnering with a global leader in real-time simulation and HIL test systems. Their tools are used across aerospace, automotive, energy, transportation, and industrial manufacturing by tier-1 OEMs, research institutions, and government agencies worldwide. The company is headquartered in Quebec with a global footprint, and their technology powers the test and validation of next-generation control systems, from small eVTOLs and drones to large commercial transporters.

You will join the Aerospace Business Unit and report to the team leader. The team designs custom turnkey test solutions that allow customers to validate and certify their hardware and embedded control system designs.

Examples of recent projects:

• →Test benches for engine control computers (traditional, hybrid, fully electric)
• →Battery management system test rigs
• →Air and de-icing system validation
• →Power electronics simulation
• →Embedded control verification for eVTOL, drone, and commercial aircraft

• Design electrical and electronic solutions integrating in-house and National Instruments products to meet customer specifications
• Build MATLAB/Simulink and VeriStand/LabVIEW models
• Generate FPGA embedded programs

• Prepare technical documentation including Bill of Materials and technical drawings
• Participate in design reviews
• Support production teams in assembling designs
• Design basic electronic circuits

• Write and execute Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures
• Burn-in and debug systems and models
• Install and support systems at customer sites worldwide

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years experience in National Instruments stack (LabVIEW, VeriStand, NI hardware)
• Specification analysis and cost estimating
• French required (business level minimum)
• English is an asset for technical reading and customer meetings
• Strong autonomy, analytical thinking, rigor, customer focus, team orientation
• Willing to travel internationally
• Montreal-based or willing to relocate

• Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) or higher

• Simulation d'électronique de puissance
• Vérification de contrôle embarqué pour eVTOL, drones et avions commerciaux

• Concevoir des solutions électriques et électroniques intégrant les produits internes et de National Instruments selon les besoins clients
• Concevoir des modèles MATLAB/Simulink et VeriStand/LabVIEW
• Générer des programmes embarqués sur FPGA

• Élaborer la documentation technique incluant le « Bill of Materials » (B.O.M.) et dessins techniques
• Participer aux revues de design
• Supporter la production dans l'assemblage
• Concevoir des circuits électroniques de base

• Rédiger et exécuter les procédures de tests d'acceptance (FAT)
• Effectuer le déverminage des systèmes et modèles
• Installer et soutenir les systèmes chez les clients à l'international

• Baccalauréat en génie électrique ou l'équivalent
• 3 à 5 ans d'expérience dans la stack National Instruments (LabVIEW, VeriStand, matériel NI)
• Analyse de cahier de spécifications et estimation de coûts
• Français obligatoire (niveau professionnel)
• Anglais un atout pour la documentation technique et les appels clients
• Autonomie, capacité d'analyse, rigueur, satisfaction client, esprit d'équipe
• Disposé à voyager mondialement
• Basé à Montréal ou disposé à relocaliser
