Systems Integrator

MorEng is partnering with a global leader in real-time simulation and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test systems. Their technology powers test and validation of next-generation control systems across aerospace, automotive, energy, transportation and industrial manufacturing for tier-1 OEMs, research institutions and government agencies worldwide. You will join the Aerospace Business Unit and report to the team leader, designing custom turnkey test solutions that help customers validate and certify hardware and embedded control system designs. Hybrid (minimum 1 day per week onsite) in the Greater Montreal Area, with international travel required.

Design and integrate electrical and electronic test solutions, build real-time and FPGA test models, and stand systems up through factory acceptance and on-site commissioning at customer locations worldwide. You will work on test benches for engine control computers (traditional, hybrid, fully electric), battery management system test rigs, air and de-icing system validation, power electronics simulation, and embedded control verification for eVTOL, drone and commercial aircraft.

• →Design electrical and electronic solutions integrating in-house and partner products
• →Build MATLAB/Simulink and real-time test models and generate FPGA embedded programs
• →Prepare technical documentation including BOMs and drawings, and participate in design reviews
• →Support production teams in assembly and design basic electronic circuits
• →Write and execute Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures, and burn-in and debug systems
• →Install and support systems at customer sites worldwide

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years experience with real-time simulation and HIL test stacks, including LabVIEW
• Specification analysis and cost estimating experience
• French at business level minimum; English an asset
• Willing to travel internationally
• Greater Montreal Area or willing to relocate

• FPGA / VIVADO experience
• Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) or higher
• Microsoft Visio
