Reports To: Creative Strategist
Work Shift: Flexible (with 2-hours daily overlap in UK Timezone)
Working Hours: Full-time; ~40 hours per week
Rate: $8–12/hr (Based on Sample Profiles)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Video Editor to support high-volume creative production for a fast-growing consumer brand. This role is focused on editing performance-driven video content based on provided briefs, with an emphasis on speed, consistency, and execution.
This is a production-focused role rather than a creative ideation role. Concepts, creative direction, and briefs will be provided by the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming those briefs into polished video assets optimized for paid social and digital advertising platforms.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with tight deadlines, and capable of producing a large volume of content while maintaining quality standards. Experience with motion graphics and animation is highly valued but not required.
This position plays a key role in helping scale creative output across marketing campaigns and advertising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing & Content Production
Edit short-form, performance-driven video content based on provided creative briefs.
Produce engaging vertical video ads for Meta platforms, typically around 30–40 seconds in length.
Create and adapt content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
Support the production of landscape YouTube ad creatives using footage from internal brand shoots.
Assemble footage, graphics, captions, audio, and visual elements into polished final assets.
Maintain strong pacing, hook retention, and platform-specific editing best practices.
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and creative direction.
Content Iteration & Optimization
Create multiple versions and variations of video assets for creative testing.
Adapt content across different formats, dimensions, and platforms.
Implement feedback efficiently and accurately.
Support rapid testing and production of performance-focused creative assets.
Workflow & Collaboration
Work closely with the Creative Strategist and broader marketing team.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Maintain organized project files, assets, and version control.
Contribute to a smooth and scalable creative production process.
Qualifications:
Required
Proven experience as a Video Editor for paid social, digital advertising, or performance marketing content.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent editing software.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute briefs accurately.
Ability to manage high-volume workloads and fast turnaround times.
Strong organizational and file management skills.
Ability to take direction well and consistently deliver high-quality work.
Preferred
Experience editing Meta ads, TikTok content, YouTube Shorts, or other short-form performance marketing creatives.
Strong understanding of direct-response creative, hooks, pacing, retention, and conversion-focused editing.
Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Ads, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube advertising formats.
Basic to intermediate motion graphics skills using Adobe After Effects or similar software.
Experience creating animations, kinetic typography, or simple motion design elements.
Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume creative production environments.
