This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which requires working in the office 3 days a week and remotely the remaining days of the week. ABOUT THE TEAM The Institutional Distribution Support team sits within the broader Institutional Sales & Service team at Parametric and consists of associates and coordinators who act as the internal liaisons between external facing directors and all other teams at Parametric to ensure that requests from clients, consultants, and prospects are handled quickly, efficiently, and with a high level of white-glove service. The team is also responsible for management of the CRM (Salesforce), data and analytics, and continued process improvements for the distribution team. ABOUT THE ROLE The Client and Consultant Relations Associate (CRA) supports Parametric's efforts to build and maintain business with investment consultants to effectively execute our business strategy and achieve new business goals. The CRA coordinates closely with senior members of the team and other internal groups to provide detailed firm and investment strategy information to consultants. In addition, the CRA will collaborate extensively with Sales and Relationship Management to create and convert opportunities via investment consultants, and provide excellent day-to-day support for this important distribution channel. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Support external facing directors in building connections with key research individuals to more cogently introduce relevant strategies and timely thought capital * Manage client onboarding, account maintenance activities, and opportunity pipelines within a dedicated CRM (Salesforce) * Prepare briefing memos, client meeting materials, consultant presentations, board meeting content, and relationship review materials by gathering information from CRM and subject matter experts across the firm. * Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams on workflow improvements, AI initiatives, reporting enhancements, and operational process redesign efforts * Develop a thorough understanding of key revenue drivers via the consultant community, and proactively offer ways to enhance related reporting through collaboration with internal stakeholders * Continuously cultivate product knowledge, industry trends, and client issues to ultimately become a better resource for both consultants and internal teams JOB QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required * 2+ years’ experience working in the investment management industry * Ability to work well with a variety of people at all levels of an organization and build trusted relationships with colleagues in other locations * Strong communication, organizational and time-management skills; ability to operate in a fast-paced environment * Results-oriented with a strong bias to action * Growing knowledge of current market trends and the competitive landscape * A collaborative approach, yet with enough tenacity to share opinions and offer creative solutions Parametric believes each member of our organization makes a significant contribution to our success. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $70,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs. Salary range for the position: $70,000 - 140,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
