The Senior Frontend Engineer designs and builds our SPA platform on a modern monorepo with micro-frontend architecture. Beyond shipping features, this role contributes to architectural decisions, maintains a high-quality bar through reviews and standards, and drives AI-augmented development practices to scale team productivity.


About Our Team:
•    We use Github Enterprise for our version control tool, so we have Pull Request/Tag/Feature Branch in our develop flow.
•    Jira is our issue tracking platform, and we also use confluence for documentation.
•    We use Jenkins Pipeline for CI flow, and Ansible is our CD tool for deployment.
•    Our system architecture is based on AWS, and we use lots of AWS Service in our system flow and platform.
•    We love to share our technical knowledge and domain know-how.

Role & Responsibilities:

We are building our owned software platform to serve our clients for a better supply chain management. Your role will be responsible to:

Design & Develop (50%) 

  • Design and implement reusable core components and shared libraries
  • Lead performance optimization with measurable metrics (bundle, render, Web Vitals)
  • Partner with PM, RD, and QA to refine requirements and ensure technical feasibility 


Code Quality & Engineering Discipline (20%)

  • Conduct deep code reviews focused on architecture, performance, and maintainability
  • Evolve coding standards, type-safety guardrails, and review checklists
  • Investigate and resolve frontend-related production issues


AI-Augmented Development (20%) 

  • Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot) productively and judge output quality
  • Design team workflows around AI: prompt templates, custom skills, automated rules
  • Build internal tooling (lint rules, hooks, generators) to amplify productivity


Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration (10%) 

  • Share knowledge through reviews, tech talks, and written docs
  • Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and platform teams on contracts and operations


ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Technical Skills

Must Have

  • Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript and React, with a strong grasp of modern frontend patterns
  • Strong HTML, CSS, SCSS, and responsive design
  • Experience with monorepo and micro-frontend architecture (Nx, Module Federation, or similar)
  • Frontend performance fundamentals: bundle analysis, lazy loading, render profiling
  • Experience with state management and form management libraries
  • Testing: unit, integration, basic E2E
  • Git / GitHub PR flow, CI/CD pipelines
  • Productive use of AI coding tools, with judgment to review and correct AI output


Nice to Have

  • LLM product integration experience (prompt engineering, RAG)
  • AWS familiarity
  • Design system or component library experience


Knowledge/Work Experience

  • 5+ years of frontend development, or 3+ years with strong technical depth
  • Proven experience shipping and maintaining production SPAs at scale
  • Track record of leading technical initiatives end-to-end
