Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead site operations and develop a high-performing team focused on safety, accountability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- →Coach, mentor, and develop employees while fostering a culture of engagement, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- →Champion safe, efficient operations by identifying and resolving operational, equipment, and process-related challenges.
- →Partner with engineering, maintenance, contractors, and project teams to support major capital projects and improve site performance.
- →Serve as a key representative for the site with regulatory agencies, maritime stakeholders, vendors, and internal business partners.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a fertilizer, chemical, refining, manufacturing, mining, maritime, energy, or other heavy industrial environment.
- Experience operating or managing industrial process operations in a 24/7 environment.
- Demonstrated success leading teams, driving results, and solving operational challenges.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with sulfur, chemical, refinery, maritime, terminal, or bulk material handling operations.
- Experience supporting capital improvement projects and contractor management.
- Working knowledge of maritime regulations, Coast Guard requirements, or port operations.
