Financial Analyst

• →Develop and maintain Motional’s comprehensive long-range financial models to support strategic decision making, capital allocation, and executive scenario planning
• →Collaborate directly with Operations teams to refine revenue forecasting, commercial deployment expenses, and vehicle operating assumptions
• →Extract strategic insights through quantitative data analysis, unit economic modeling, and competitive benchmarking
• →Partner with stakeholders across Corporate Strategy, Commercial, Engineering, and Operations on cross functional and ad-hoc projects
• →Prepare slides and assist in presenting findings to key stakeholders including Motional’s leadership team
  
  

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, or another related field
• 3+ years professional experience beyond academic career in related field
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, including the ability to build complex financial models and perform scenario analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  
  

• CFA or MBA (or progress towards)
• Experience in data analytics and/or executive dashboard creation (Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
• Experience with valuation methodologies and general valuation concepts
• Familiarity with the automotive or mobility industry
