This unionized position works with various types of metal and uses a variety of welding techniques to fabricate coach components and frames.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Fabricates metal coach components and frames using MIG, TIG and STICK welding techniques and strict quality guidelines.
- →Grind and solder coach components.
- →Interpret welding process specs, blueprints, drawings and work instructions.
- →Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
~1 min read- 2+ years of demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing or automotive environment is preferred.
- Previous experience in an automotive setting, particularly an auto body background with MIG and TIG welding experience, is preferred.
- Experience working with solvents and pre-treatment chemicals.
- Experience operating air plasma and oxy acetylene equipment is required
