Cloud Platforms Mid-Level Software Engineer - Java / Spring Boot

We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated software professional to analyze, design, and maintain highly scalable backend services for our core public safety products. In this role, you will work in a people-first culture focused on innovating what's next in cloud operational intelligence. You will join a close-knit engineering community that transforms complex data streams into reliable, real-time platform capabilities, helping emergency responders act with clarity and certainty.   Analyze, develop, and design robust cloud services using modern Java ecosystems and frameworks

  Build and scale cloud computing infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP architectures

  Implement secure and reliable backend workflows that manage throughput and system consistency
   

• Design and deploy resilient REST API architectures and WebServices to unify data workflows

• Utilize Hibernate and related ORM frameworks to orchestrate data lifecycle and storage pipelines

• Leverage the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Security, to optimize ecosystem capabilities
   

• Perform system integration of software components to simplify complex workflows for end-users

• Collaborate with cross-functional product groups to align backend APIs with Angular and React frontend experiences

• Troubleshoot complex architectural issues and handle system optimizations under operational scale

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a technical field

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development with a focus on Java
   

• • Experience working with frontend frameworks like Angular or React

  • Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in a cloud context

  • Familiarity with messaging systems or streaming architectures for high-volume data platforms
