Addiction Psychiatry – Physician – NYC Health + Hospitals – Queens Hospital Center - Queens, NY

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens, serving the culturally diverse community of Eastern Queens, is seeking a full-time board-certified Addiction Psychiatrist with an interest in medical education and curricular development who will provide outstanding leadership and vision to assist in the development of our newly launched Residency Training Program. This is an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary leadership team working with a diverse patient population in a major clinical and training institution.  

The Attending Psychiatrist will provide direct patient care for the department of Psychiatry, which will include addiction treatment in the outpatient setting as well as provide consultations and prescribing abilities to patients in the Queens Hospital EDs and Inpatient services.

Candidates must have an MD degree and be board certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. This position requires current New York State License, Medicaid number and DEA number.

Compensation range from 261k to 281k (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).
