Flex Staff-By hour-Project Associate-150 East 42nd Street-Part-Time-20-22h/week-Hybrid

This is a temporary role that will continue until 6/30/2027, with a possibility to extend for another year based on grant funding renewal.

The project associate will work with the program manager on specific North HELP coalition activities (with latitude for developing related projects within the parameters of the Coalition's mission). The specific activities will include: 

• Develop and implement a plan for collaboration with local organizations.
•  Design and coordinate an operations-based exercise.
• Develop and conduct emergency preparedness training and webinars. 
• Develop and conduct communication drills and analyze performance. 
• Attend coalition-wide, task force, and strategic planning meetings. 
• Design and disseminate coalition communications. 
• Participate in other coalition building activities, as assigned

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of work experience;

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

   

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in emergency preparedness or related field OR Master's degree in Emergency Preparedness, Public Health, Public Administration, or a similar area of study.
