Building Maintenance Technician

Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is looking for a skilled and dependable Building Maintenance Technician to help keep our buildings and grounds safe, functional, and welcoming.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Location: 240 North Ave, Penn Yan, NY (Yates County)

On-Call: Participation in an evening and weekend on-call rotation

What You'll Do

As a Building Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep our facilities operating safely and efficiently through a variety of hands-on maintenance and repair work. You'll:

Perform general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and building repairs
Complete preventive maintenance and facility inspections
Assist with renovation and improvement projects
Safely operate power tools and maintenance equipment
Support grounds maintenance and seasonal needs, including snow removal
Work with supervisors and maintenance team members to complete projects efficiently
Help maintain safe, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for the people we support and our employees

What We're Looking For

Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
At least 2 years of building maintenance experience or equivalent
Working knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems
Valid NYS Driver's License acceptable to the Agency's insurance carrier
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and take pride in quality workmanship
