Hourly Pay: $22.16 with $0.50 increase after 90-day Introductory period
Shift Time: 11:30pm - 8:00pm - Monday through Thursday. 9-5 on Friday
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Job Summary:
The Truck Service Assistant is responsible for working alongside the Fleet Supervisor in driving the company’s Fleet Success. Ensuring productive, organized, and safe work environments as well as Quality Fleet Preparedness. The Truck Service Assistant is involved with all activities related to Truck Service, Transferring Waste, Chemicals and Preparing Service Trucks for use. This role frequently coordinates with other departments.
General Responsibilities:
Lead by example and own safe work practices and quality compliance.
Routinely check work area and surrounding areas including the Truck Service, Fleet Shop, and Yard for Safety Hazards, Organization and Cleanliness.
Follow procedures and ensure all incidents are promptly reported and investigated. If an employee is not following the proper procedure – notify Department Leaders.
Monitor inventory of parts/equipment/tools and report to Department Leaders when reorder is required.
Perform Vehicle Maintenance to include but not limited to, checking and adding fluids to Vehicles, fixing or replacing parts as assigned.
Service Company vehicles including but not limited to, Transferring Waste, Water Fill, Stocking with Chemicals and Supplies, Washing and Cleaning.
Perform DVIR’s as directed by Department
On Occasion, may be assigned to work under the Product Maintenance Department to include machine operating, wash and prep services for all Product Offerings
and assist in the Repair process for all Product Offerings.
Coordinate with other departments and provide assistance to drivers in delivering, installing, servicing, and repairing products in the field.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
Auto Tech Experience preferred.
Education and Experience:
1+ Years of experience in a Mechanic Role, Preferred.
OSHA-10 Certification Preferred
Machine Operating Experience, a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to Perform all Truck Assistant and Product Maintenance work.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
