The following position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. As an EHS Specialist, you’ll help create a safer, healthier, and more environmentally responsible workplace. You’ll partner with teams across the site and the enterprise to support environmental, health and safety programs, training, inspections, and compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

What you bring to the table
A bachelor’s degree and at least two years of related experience, an equivalent combination of education and experience, or a master’s degree.
Working knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver clear, engaging EHS requirements and training.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to manage information and create reports or presentations.
The ability to work well with people across departments while staying organized and detail-focused.
What sets you apart
Experience conducting EHS inspections, internal audits, and identifying workplace hazards, with the ability to evaluate and propose corrective actions where needed
Experience with explosives and explosives safety would be a plus
Familiarity with Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and hazard/risk assessments.
Ability to maintain an EHS management system in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Willingness to support not only the local site, but regionally and across the enterprise
A proactive mindset for recommending practical solutions and helping prevent incidents.
Curiosity and enthusiasm for finding new ways—including AI tools—to improve safety, efficiency, and compliance.

Target salary range: USD $82,015.00/Yr. - USD $88,743.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.
