Position Summary

The Manager, Global Marketing Communications Auto Care leads communications strategy, creative direction and integrated media planning for Energizer Holdings Inc.’s Auto Care portfolio. This role is responsible for translating brand priorities and consumer insights into communications strategies that drive brand growth and deliver business results, including building brand equity and driving conversion and ROI. 

The Manager serves as the primary communications partner to creative and media agencies, responsible for developing agency briefs and providing strategic direction to support creative and media execution. As a key strategic partner to Category, Media, Consumer Insights, Digital Commerce and Commercial teams, the role influences communications priorities and ensures consistent, impactful brand experiences across media, commerce and consumer touchpoints.


Responsibilities

Integrated Communications Planning: Lead the development and execution of integrated communications plans across paid, owned, digital and ecommerce channels. Ensure communications strategies align with brand objectives, target audiences and business priorities. 

Brand Strategy: Leverage consumer insights, market trends and competitive intelligence to inform communications, messaging and campaign development. 

Creative Development: Manage creative development from brief to launch, leading agencies and cross-functional teams to deliver effective communications across channels. 

Media Strategy and Planning: Partner with the Media team to develop briefs and align messaging and audience targeting priorities. Ensure brand objectives are effectively translated into media plans, channel strategies and campaign execution. 

Social and Digital Communications: Develop and execute integrated social and digital communications plans, applying knowledge of platform capabilities, audience behaviors and content best practices across digital channels, including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit and emerging digital platforms. Monitor performance, analyze results and provide recommendations to optimize content effectiveness and inform future communications strategies. 

Innovation & Product Launches: Support the development and execution of communications plans for innovation and new product launches, including messaging, creative assets, ecommerce content and media support. 

Cross-Functional Leadership & Brand Stewardship: Partner with Category, Shopper, Commercial, Digital Economy, Consumer Insights, and other cross-functional teams to translate brand strategies and consumer insights into effective marketing programs and communications. 

Agency Management: Serve as the primary communications lead for agency partners, setting strategic direction, shaping integrated communications plans and developing briefs that translate brand, business and consumer objectives into effective marketing strategies. Provide oversight of agency scope, budgets, timelines, deliverables and performance. 

Performance Measurement & Insights: Analyze marketing performance data and brand health metrics  to identify insights and provide recommendations to inform future marketing strategy. 

Budget and Scope Management: Manage budgets and agency scopes, tracking spend against approved plans and ensuring resources are deployed efficiently to support business priorities and marketing objectives. 

Team Leadership and Development: Manage and develop direct reports, establishing clear priorities, accountability and development opportunities.  

Key Deliverables 

Annual integrated communications plans aligned to brand and business objectives 

Media briefs, messaging frameworks and creative strategies that support integrated media planning and campaign execution 

Brand guidelines, creative assets and content toolkits that enable consistent execution across national, global, shopper, digital commerce, eCommerce and paid media channels 

Social, eCommerce and digital content plans that translate brand strategy into effective execution 

Launch communications plans and assets supporting innovation and new product launches 

Campaign performance reports, brand health assessments and optimization recommendations 

Executive presentations that translate consumer insights and marketing performance into actionable recommendations 

Agency scopes of work, budget forecasts and spend tracking 

Development plans for direct reports

What we are looking for

5+ years of marketing communications, brand marketing, integrated marketing, advertising, or related experience
Ability to influence senior management and support functions Globally
Demonstrated competencies in collaboration, team leadership and achieving results in alignment with stated company and business segment strategy
Experience working within a consumer packaged goods (CPG) related industry preferred

Total Rewards Package

The salary range for this position is USD $109,000.00/Yr. - USD $135,000.00/Yr.

Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
