Quality Assurance Manager Opportunity
Our client, an established global company in the transportation technology sector, is looking for an independent Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality oversight on a large-scale, long-term transportation infrastructure program in Southern California. This is a dedicated program role that reports to executive leadership rather than the project team, which gives you the independence and authority to ensure quality across every part of the work.
What you'll do:
- Own the implementation and ongoing effectiveness of the program’s Quality Management Plan and quality documentation.
- Plan, schedule, and execute regular audits across operations, systems, and subcontracted services, and own the formal reporting, follow-up, and closure of findings.
- Verify reporting accuracy and KPI performance through data sample validation, trend analysis, and annual audit reporting.
- Lead root cause investigations of nonconformities and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) through to closure.
- Ensure deliverables, purchased materials and services, and subcontractor work meet contractual quality requirements.
- Identify risks and improvement opportunities, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a trusted, independent quality voice with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
What’s Offered:
- An independent, high-visibility role with real influence on how a major program performs.
- Long-term stability on a multi-year program, backed by a global organization.
