IREN is a vertically integrated AI Cloud provider, delivering large-scale data centers and GPU clusters for AI training and inference. IREN’s platform is underpinned by its expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and power in renewable-rich regions across North America, Europe and APAC.
With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance compute. We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in.
As IREN scales its AI Cloud business, the Associate / Senior Associate, Corporate Development will work closely with the Head of AI Ecosystem to help shape and execute IREN's strategy across the AI ecosystem. The role combines market research, financial analysis and hands-on execution across M&A, strategic investments and commercial partnerships, while contributing to broader go-to-market initiatives. You will own analysis and defined workstreams with guidance from senior colleagues. Appointment level will reflect relevant experience and demonstrated capability.
Research the AI market, including business models, competitive dynamics and inference economics, and develop evidence-based views on opportunities for IREN
Assess build, partner, invest and acquire options, analyzing strategic fit, commercial potential, integration, financial returns and execution risks

Build relationships across the San Francisco AI ecosystem, working with the team to generate market insight, partnership ideas and investment opportunities
Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses and business cases; test key assumptions and communicate the implications for investment and partnership decisions
Execute defined commercial and financial diligence workstreams and support transaction structuring and execution, coordinating with internal teams and external advisers
Track priority partner initiatives and performance against agreed objectives, helping colleagues identify opportunities, resolve issues and advance joint plans
Work with Engineering, Operations, Product and Commercial teams on strategic initiatives and go-to-market analysis, translating findings into practical next steps
Prepare materials for executive and Board discussions on AI strategy, investments and partnerships, clearly explaining the evidence, economics, risks and decisions required
