Our Company's Global Security Group was created in 1999 to help our Company meet the challenges of doing business in an increasingly challenging world environment.  Reporting to the GSG North American Director, the North America (NA) Associate Director of Regional Security (ADRS) will support all the NA Regional GSG’s Operations in North America by leading the investigation of escalated GSG investigations. This specific role will be primarily responsible for approximately 22 of the main 51 assigned sites within the Northeast Region of the United States, that comprise our Company Animal Health operations, with secondary supporting responsibility for the other sites. Responsible for conducting complex investigations and managing security-related incidents across our Company Animal Health operations. The investigator protects company employees, assets, products, intellectual property, supply chain operations, and business reputation while supporting our Company's Animal Health's commitment to integrity, innovation, and operational excellence. This will also include coverage at high profile sites such as our Company's Headquarters in Rahway.


The work location will reside in Rahway, NJ, with a current Hybrid work model.


Responsibilities

  • →Investigate security incidents impacting manufacturing sites, laboratories, veterinary operations, distribution centers, field personnel, and commercial Animal Health business units.
  • →Identify risks to employees, products, facilities, customers, animals, and business operations; develop mitigation strategies and corrective action plans.
  • →Protect our Company Animal Health products, technologies, research, data, and trade secrets through investigative support and intelligence gathering activities.
  • →Support supply chain security initiatives, including investigations involving product theft, illegal diversion, counterfeit products, cargo security, and distribution vulnerabilities.
  • →Partner with Animal Health leadership, manufacturing management, veterinary business teams, compliance, legal, human resources, and quality organizations to address security concerns and investigative findings.
  • →Establishes and maintains a seamless interface with assigned regional management and operations. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Analyze security exposures and implement cost-effective passive, reactive, and proactive programs to address these exposures.
  • →Maintain strong working relationships with local, state, federal, and international law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities, and industry security professionals.
  • →Collect, analyze, and disseminate intelligence related to threats, criminal activity, activist actions, supply chain disruptions, and emerging risks affecting Animal Health operations.
  • →Conduct security assessments, risk analyses, and site surveys to identify vulnerabilities and recommend cost-effective security enhancements, in coordination with stakeholders and GSG Physical Security COE.  
  • →Support crisis management, business continuity, incident response, and emergency management activities involving Animal Health facilities and personnel.
  • →Prepare detailed investigative reports, executive summaries, evidence documentation, and management briefings suitable for leadership and regulatory review.
  • →Manage a high-volume caseload while ensuring timely, accurate, and professional investigative outcomes.
  • →Maintain investigative records, metrics, and trend analyses to identify recurring issues and support strategic security initiatives.
  • →Deliver security awareness education and investigative guidance to employees, contractors, and business partners.
  • →Demonstrate the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and ethical conduct while representing Global Security and our Company Animal Health.
  • →Committed to successfully operating in a matrixed environment with an exceptional level of collaboration, clarity, and transparency in dealing with peers, team members, and Senior Leadership.
  • →Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and respond rapidly to dynamic events. Sound, proven judgment is a must. 
  • →Provide detailed succinct verbal and written briefings to Site Specific and Corporate Senior Leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience conducting corporate, regulatory, law enforcement/military, compliance, or security investigations.
  • Advanced interviewing, evidence collection, report writing, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain security, product integrity investigations, intellectual property protection, and physical security principles.
  • Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as required to support Animal Health operations.
  • Computer technical proficiency to manage cases within a case management system, report writing, investigative analysis and documentation, and ability to retrieve and document pertinent case information with investigations.

The salary range for this role is

$129,000.00 - $203,100.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
