On-Call Service/Maintenance

Join the dynamic IPF Custodial team to perform cleaning and maintenance activities that support MSU’s mission of advancing knowledge & transforming lives! This position will engage in high performing, leading edge practices, using superior cleaning methods, equipment, and standards. This position will perform cleaning and maintenance activities; understands and gives verbal or written instructions; reads chemical, biological, or radioactive warning signs; removes snow with shovel or snow blower; retains training information required for custodial methods, equipment, and products; works with student employees and communicates and interacts with the University community; serves as a liaison with the Department of Public Safety; maintains product inventory; makes independent decisions to accomplish acceptable cleaning standards using appropriate methods, products, and equipment.
