As a Senior Product Manager, Freight, you will help build the next generation of freight products at Mudflap. You’ll work directly with Mudflap leadership and cross-functional partners to shape experiences that help carriers find, evaluate, book, and execute freight more effectively.
This role sits at the intersection of marketplace dynamics, logistics operations, and customer experience. You’ll spend time with owner-operators, fleets, brokers, and internal teams to identify opportunities, define solutions, and drive measurable business impact.
What We Offer
~1 min read5+ years of product management experience, preferably in freight, logistics, transportation technology, marketplaces, fintech, or related industries
Strong track record of owning products from concept through launch and measurable business impact
Experience working on operationally complex products involving multiple stakeholders and real-world constraints
Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, network effects, liquidity challenges, and participant incentives
Strong customer empathy and ability to translate customer problems into practical product solutions
Excellent prioritization and decision-making skills in ambiguous environments
Analytical mindset with the ability to define metrics, diagnose problems, and make data-informed decisions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
Comfort operating in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve as new information emerges
Proven ability to leverage AI to increase personal and team effectiveness across product discovery, customer insights, specification development, and decision-making, while recognizing where human judgment remains critical

The salary range for this role is $215,000 - $235,000 + equity. This information reflects a base salary range for this position based on current market data, which may be subject to change as new market data becomes available. The candidate's skills, experience, and other relevant factors will determine the exact compensation.
