Responsibilities
~1 min read- →You will mobilize resources and manage the system in response to patient needs
- →You will act as an expert clinical practitioner and participate in the development and evaluation of clinical guidelines and standards of care
- →You will apply your specialized knowledge to the activities of administration, supervision, and evaluation of nursing practice
- →You will utilize critical thinking skills and independent decision-making regarding patient care and the collection and analysis of data
- →Collaborate with patients, families, health care providers, payors and management
- →Commit to achieving safe, reliable and effective health care excellence
Requirements
~2 min read- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Three (3) years of recent clinical experience in specialty area

MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hub serving Puyallup and East Pierce County. As the area’s only hospital, it features a Family Birth Center, Level III Trauma and Neonatal ICUs, Level I Trauma Rehabilitation Center, Children’s Therapy Unit and a 24-hour Emergency Department.
