The Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) Senior Manager for Clinical Neurophysiology Services reports to the Director of Clinical Neurophysiology Services and is responsible for leading and overseeing 24/7 IONM operations across both adult and pediatric services.
This role provides direct leadership to IONM Specialist staff while partnering closely with the Medical Director and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, efficient, and compliant neurophysiologic monitoring services. The IONM Senior Manager plays a critical role in advancing departmental, ICCE, and Medical Center goals, including clinical excellence, operational performance, and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide leadership and oversight of daily IONM operations across all service lines (adult and pediatric)
- →Supervise, mentor, and develop IONM Specialist staff, ensuring high performance and clinical competency
- →Collaborate with the Medical Director and leadership to achieve clinical quality, operational, and financial goals
- →Ensure compliance with ABRET IONM Lab accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
- →Support staffing models, scheduling, and 24/7 operational coverage
- →Partner with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and procedural efficiency
- →Participate in and support neurophysiologic monitoring procedures as needed using advanced electronic equipment
- →Ensure appropriate physician availability or support during all procedures
Requirements
~1 min read- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in neurophysiology or IONM
- At least 3 years of leadership or management experience
- Certifications:
- CNIM (Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring) required
- Certification in one or more neurodiagnostic registries (e.g., EEG, R. EP T., R. NCS T.) or relevant Bachelor’s degree
- Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross equivalent)
