Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a member of our laboratory team, you will:
- →Perform routine, specialized, moderate, and high-complexity laboratory testing on blood and body fluid specimens within the scope of your qualifications
- →Produce accurate, reliable, and timely test results that support critical patient-care decisions
- →Follow established quality control and quality assurance standards
- →Perform instrument function checks, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance
- →Maintain required laboratory records, documentation, and statistical data in accordance with regulatory requirements
- →Assist throughout laboratory areas as needed to support efficient operations and patient care
- →Collect chain-of-custody urine drug screens as required
- →Help orient and train new employees and students on laboratory policies and procedures
- →Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals committed to quality, accuracy, and exceptional patient care
- →Provide coverage for other shifts when necessary to support laboratory operations
