Skilled Radiology Tech to work closely with the CVOR team, Surgeons and patients when performing vascular procedures. The responsibilities will include, but not limited to, maintaining and operating the specialized vascular C-arm equipment to capture the correct area and produce clear images, applying and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices, maintain regulatory required documentation during/after the procedure, help to prepare and position the patient for surgery, ability to scrub to assist with catheters, wires, stents, etc., assist in the development of new hybrid room, become part of the CVOR team with other responsibilities as assigned. Call requirements - to be determined.
Job Description

Requirements
~1 min readEducation: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Work Experience: 0-2 years of modality specific experience required. Current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). ARRT registration in interventional radiology required within 1 year in position. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
