The Student Health and Wellness Ambassador serves as a welcoming resource for Wellness Center members by promoting health and wellness initiatives, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting member engagement activities and wellness events. Ambassadors help create a positive and inclusive environment, educate members about available services, and encourage healthy lifestyle habits throughout the MUSC community.

Greet members at the Member Services Desk with a strong commitment to improving the health and well-being of members and guests (25%)

Help create a culture of wellness by role modeling healthy behaviors, providing excellent customer service, and conducting tours for guests and prospective members (15%)

Process point-of-sale credit card transactions, including the sale of guest passes and memberships, and input transactions into the membership management system (10%)

Answer member questions and provide assistance to participants in the cardio, weight room, and other fitness areas (10%)

Uphold safety and cleaning policies, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment (10%)

Manage the lobby area to ensure it is clean, organized, and welcoming; contact housekeeping as needed (10%)

Perform opening and closing operational procedures as assigned (5%)

Offer new member equipment instruction and orientation (5%)

Serve as a Program Assistant as needed and complete all required training (5%)

Perform other duties as assigned (5%)
